The eco-friendly insulation panel
Our never-ending search for innovative and sustainable products has led us to the creation of this gray printed sheet created for external insulation systems and composed of the 100% secondary raw material Neopor BMB® (Biomass Balance) by BASF using only renewable sources (REDcert2 certified). Thanks to the graphite included in the polystyrene, the product has a low thermal conductivity and the dark color absorbs and reflects infrared rays, neutralizing the effects of heat radiation and providing large energy savings and a remarkable improvement of well-being compared to traditional materials. Every sheet is moulded individually, ensuring quality standards and respecting the fundamental parameters in terms of external insulation.
The moulding process guarantees a homogeneous density throughout the sheet and its dimensional stability. The surface layer is characterized by a double relief texture (geometric embossing and power grip texture) to ease the adhesion of smoothing compounds and glues, and with vertical section-breaking cuts to allow the release of the material from mechanical stress. The development of this project was totally overseen by MPE, from the initial drawings to production of VITANOVA 100 panels, to managing the logistics on behalf of our customers. Using this product for the insulation of foundations and facades brings several advantages: first, it reduces humidity and energy costs; second, it's possible to use panels with the plaster, making the process easier thanks to their lightness.

Following every step of the project
MPE, with its Primate team, took care of all the steps of this project, from the first drawings to the certification process with major international institutions. Today, it produces VITANOVA 100 panels and manages the logistics on behalf of our customers.
Building insulation with Neopor BMB by BASF®
Using VITANOVA 100 panels to insulate the foundations offers +20% of insulation performance compared to traditional white EPS: you will minimize moisture and mould problems and reduce energy costs. The insulation panels are light and easy to work with. VITANOVA 100 insulating panels are suitable to insulate houses both from heat and cold. They can be used in new buildings and renovations, together with plaster and can be applied to the wall with fasteners.
