EPP is a crucial component in the automotive industry for making bumpers, dashboards, seats, and other protective parts placed inside the doors and roof.
In addition to its energy-absorbing performance, it is effective in improving the acoustics inside the passenger compartment.
EPP is also a lightweight material, which significantly reduces the weight of the car, saving on fuel consumption and emissions.
EPS, on the other hand, is used to produce the inner shell of helmets for cycling and motorcycling due to its high shock-absorbing capacity. However, unlike EPP, EPS must be replaced once subjected to an impact.
