Why EPP for the inner shell
We understand the importance of hobbies and leisure time, and how sports can enrich our lives. That's why we worked together with Petzl to create Boreo helmets for men and Borea helmets for women. We provided the right polypropylene solution to make them lightweight, impact-resistant, and perfectly fitted.
The key difference between climbing helmets and helmets used for other sports lies in the use of EPP, which has the ability to return to its original condition after each impact. In contrast, EPS loses its protective capabilities after compressing. EPP has a consistently lower shock absorption capacity over time, making it the most suitable material for climbing situations.

EPP ed EPS
Three materials, ABS, EPS and EPP, are usually used to make the product safe, comfortable and able to withstand shocks over time. ABS is used for the outer shell, EPP for the inner shell and EPS for the upper padding. Polyester is used for the webbing.
A part in every phase of the production process
We personally follow every stage of the project, from design to production, to make technical changes that improve product performance and optimise production costs (industrialisation). The result is a product of the highest quality and performance in terms of impact resistance.
