When we talk about construction and insulation, two industries in which MPE is expert, we have to talk about acoustic insulation. Thanks to the extraordinary know-how of the Primate team, an MPE brand, MPE has developed a range of products to improve a building simply isolating it acoustically. The creation of these products is due to an accurate knowledge of the market both in what concerns materials’ features and their processing. Bureau Veritas validation n. IT-IND-F-020_CAM 02.
It’s the sound impact absorbing mat made of chemically cross-linked, closed-cell polyethylene foam and heat-bonded recycled polyester fibre, with high basis weight and high resistance to compression. Thanks to these combined features, PHONOMAX guarantees excellent insulation from foot traffic noise and that’s why it is perfectly suitable for the creation of screeds. This product is REMADE IN ITALY certified in class B and complies with Criterion 2.5.7 of the CAM – DM 23/06/2022 (Minimum Environmental Criteria) for its recycled content and is Certified Bureau Veritas n. 1246/001. It has also obtained by Bureau Veritas the validation of compliance for the other standards for acoustic insulation required by the CAM Building - Criterion 2.5.7 previously mentioned.

Primate Phonomax was completely designed and manufactured by MPE's Primate team, who followed every step of the process: from idea conception to choice of materials and how to combine them, from acoustic analysis to the process of certifying with internationally accredited organizations, from production to delivery to final customer.
Not just a simple sound absorbing mat
Primate Phonomax, the 10mm sound impact absorbing mat, perfectly suitable for two-layer solutions is composed of Primate Phonopro in cross-linked closed-cell expanded polyethylene coupled with thermo-bonded recycled polyester fibre Phonotek R-PET Plus with high weight and high resistance to compression. Thanks to the combined features of these two components, Primate Phonomax assures excellent insulation from foot traffic noise and the floating screed made with Primate Phonomax provides significant improvements in terms of insulation from airborne noise. The mattress has battens on the long sides. Please be sure to lay the mattress with the fiber facing downwards.
Achieving our sustainability goals
The product is certified REMADE IN ITALY Class B for its recycled content and complies with Criterion 2.5.7 of the CAM – Ministerial Decree 06/23/2022 (Minimum Environmental Criteria) for the recycled content. Bureau Veritas certificate n. 1246/001. In addition, it has obtained by Bureau Veritas the validation of compliance with the other standards for acoustic insulation required by the CAM Building - Criterion 2.5.7 mentioned above.
